Where Cozi is enough
If what you want is a shared calendar with a shopping list and a meal planner, and you do not mind typing events in, Cozi Free is fine and has been for years. Its Gold tier removes ads and adds a month view for $39 a year. There is no reason to pay more for a calendar you only need to look at.
Where AI Calendar is the better fit
- You drive kids around. Cozi has no travel time. AI Calendar puts a leave-by time on every drive and rechecks it against live traffic. See leave-by alerts.
- You book travel. Cozi does nothing with a flight confirmation. AI Calendar builds the trip, keeps the confirmation numbers, and watches the fare, the room and the car for a price drop.

The price, honestly
Cozi Max at $79.99 and a flights-only fare tracker such as TripIt Pro at $49 come to $128.99 a year for AI import and a fare watch on flights. AI Calendar's Household plan is $99 for up to six people, with hotels and rental cars watched as well and leave-by times on top. For one person, Individual is $79.
Moving from Cozi
If your Cozi calendar is synced to Google Calendar, connect the same Google account and the events are already there. Otherwise AI Calendar subscribes to any published calendar link and reads pasted or forwarded text, so a season of events moves over in one import.
